Assistant Principal's Message
Hello Southlake Family,
I am extremely excited to be one of the new assistant principals for the 2023-2024 school year joining the pack. I am from a small town in Illinois close to St. Louis. I graduated from Illinois State with a chemical engineering degree and then got my master's degree and education degree from Southern Illinois University. Later I went back to get my administrative degree from the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER SOONER!)
This is my second year in administration with my last year being at Bryant. Prior to administration in Oklahoma, I was teaching AP and Honors Biology and coaching at Westmoore High School. I have been in education for 33 years with the other time being spent in Illinois and Missouri teaching various grades, subjects, and coaching sports.
Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, especially my husband Brian and Yorkie Teddy. I love to travel, read, shop, binge a good show, or play/watch sports.
My passion is education and I have a true love for what I do. I am a lifelong learner and want to instill in the students that same love. I hope to grow and learn the Wolf Way and support Mrs. Sixkiller in her vision. I look forward to serving the South Lake Community and guiding the students on their educational journey through Moore Public Schools.
I look forward to a great school year. Go Wolves!
